16 SSC Players Earn ITA All-America Status

Sixteen SSC student-athletes were recently named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II All-America Teams.
Nine women’s tennis players received recognition on the squad. Barry’s Barbi Pocza and Lynn’s Eleonora Iannozzi were named All-America in both singles and doubles play. Florida Southern’s Agnese Rozite, Lynn’s Magdalena Ekert, and Rollins’ Roshni Luthra received singles nods. Earned doubles honors were Barry’s Angie Werschel, Florida Tech’s Katarina and Kristina Huba, and Lynn’s Ioana Ivan.
Lynn’s Willi Wolfer and Vlad Cirla garnered men’s All-America honors in both singles and doubles play. Barry’s Emanuel Fraitzl and Rollins’ Jeff Morris were distinguished for singles competition. Lynn’s Luca Pavanelli and Alessandro Sarra, as well as Barry’s Max Wimmer, were tabbed in doubles.
