FT's Kristina Huba Gets Women's Tennis Weekly Nod

Florida Tech sophomore Kristina Huba has been named Sunshine State Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
Huba (Ascona, Switzerland) picked up a pair of singles wins and two #1 doubles wins as the No. 24 Panthers went 2-1 in three matches, two of which came against ranked opponents. In a 5-4 win over No. 16 Northwood, Huba downed Svenja Stephan 6-0, 6-2 in #2 singles. She joined her sister, Katarina, with whom she forms the No. 12 doubles tandem in Division II, for an 8-4 top-flight win over No. 25 Susana Alcaraz and Nastya Puchkina. In a 9-0 sweep at Georgia Southwestern, Huba defeated Carly Cangelosi 6-1, 6-0 at #1 singles and tallied an 8-1 #1 doubles win over Cangelosi and Ginny Jones.
