Eckerd Hosts Third Annual "Fun in the Sun" Day

Eckerd College recently hosted its third annual "Fun in the Sun Day," which caters to children in the St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay communities.
While rain may have dampened a few spirits on Saturday afternoon, spirits were high at the McArthur Center, which served as the hub of activity for the event.
All eleven NCAA Division II teams were on hand for the event with the intent of thanking the local community for its support given to Eckerd College athletics. Oganized by the EC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.) and Athletic Trainer Erin Hughes, Saturday afternoon was filled with plenty of free activities and interaction with Eckerd College student-athletes.
