UT's Pritchard & O'Shea Named Baseball Players of the Week

Tampa's Heath Pritchard and Ben O'Shea have been named Sunshine State Conference Baseball Players of the Week.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK -- With the SSC title on the line, Tampa senior DH Heath Pritchard (Nassau, Bahamas) helped lead the No. 2 Spartans to a series sweep over No. 9 Nova Southeastern. Pritchard batted .556 with four RBI and seven runs scored. He hit safely in all three games, posting a .615 on-base percentage. He also belted three home runs en route to a 1.556 slugging percentage. Pritchard had one homer in a 10-1 Tampa win in the opening game of the series and then slammed a pair of home runs in a 12-4 victory in the finale.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK -- Tampa junior Ben O’Shea (Reading, Mass.) picked up the win in No. 2 Tampa’s 10-1 victory in the series opener versus No. 9 Nova Southeastern. Pitching seven innings, O’Shea scattered six hits with one walk. He struck out seven Shark batters.
