PLAYER OF THE WEEK -- Lynn junior 1B Chris Chavez (Miami, Fla.) led the No. 1 Fighting Knights to three wins, batting .636 with five RBI and three runs.  Chavez displayed tremendous power at the plate, notching three doubles, a triple, and a home run en route to a 1.364 slugging percentage.  He hit safely in all three games and tallied three hits in each of the Knights’ wins against Palm Beach Atlantic.  For the week, he recorded a .667 OBP and a 1.000 fielding percentage.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK -- Florida Tech sophomore Jonathan Cornelius (Land O’ Lakes, Fla.) notched a complete shutout in the Panthers’ 2-0 victory over Bentley.  Cornelius allowed four hits with no walks and seven strikeouts over nine innings of work.
