Tampa's Jeremy Black and Nova Southeastern's Tim Coenraad have been chosen Sunshine State Conference Men's Basketball Players of the Week for the period ending November 25.
![]() | PLAYER OF THE WEEK -- Tampa senior forward Jeremy Black (Tampa, Fla) led the Spartans to a pair of wins, averaging 27.5 points, 13.0 rebounds, 1.0 block, and 0.5 steals per game. Black made a sizzling 89 percent (16-for-18) of his field goal attempts en route to a pair of double-double performances. In a 92-81 win over South Region opponent Valdosta State, he tallied 30 points, 16 rebounds, a block, and a steal. In an 88-79 victory versus P.R.-Bayamon, he recorded 25 points, 10 rebounds, and a block. Black shot 72 percent (15-of-19) from the free throw line in the contests. |

In a 73-61 win at West Florida, he notched 17 points, seven rebounds, four assists, three steals, and two blocks. In an 84-66 victory against Palm Beach Atlantic, Coenraad registered 21 points, seven boards, four assists, a block, and a steal. In two games, he shot 50 percent (12-for-24) from the field, 45.5 percent (5-for-11) from three-point range, and 100 percent (9-of-9) at the line. |
