Lynn's Alisson Siaci and Alessandro Sarra have received Sunshine State Conference Tennis Player of the Week honors for the period ending March 15.
![]() | PLAYER OF THE WEEK -- Lynn sophomore Alisson Siaci (Nantes, France) went 8-0 in a week that saw the No. 4 Fighting Knights notch four victories, including a pair of wins over opponents ranked in the Top 10. Playing at #6 singles, Siaci clinched the match-winning point in 5-4 rain-delayed victory over No. 3 Valdosta State. She downed Karine Redon 4-6, 6-1, 7-5 in that showdown and earlier teamed with Jessica Yanoff for an 8-1 win at #3 doubles. In an 8-1 win over No. 6 West Florida, she cruised to a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Caitlyn Baines at #6 singles and again joined Yanoff for an 8-3 #3 doubles win. Earlier in the week, the Fighting Knights posted a 7-2 win over Division I Middle Tennessee, with Siaci earning a 6-4, 5-7, 10-8 win over Marlene Chemin at #5 singles and a 9-8 victory with Tessie Salame at #3 doubles. In a 6-3 win over DI Temple, she rolled over Felicia Frazier 6-3, 6-4 at #6 singles and teamed with Yanoff for an 8-4 win in the #3 doubles slot. |

In a 5-4 upset over No. 2 Valdosta State, Sarra took down No. 28 Leos Jelenik 6-3, 6-3 at #4 singles. He also teamed with Luca Pavanelli for an 8-3 #2 doubles win over Daniel Dueren and Michael Kuech. In an 8-1 victory over No. 9 West Florida, he defeated No. 48 Patrick Bateman 2-6, 6-3, 6-1 at #4 singles and again combined with Pavanelli for an 8-6 win over Bateman and Luis Arboleda at #2 doubles. |
