Saint Leo's Michelle Nogueras and Rollins' Kim Cline have been named the Sunshine State Conference Volleyball Players of the Week for the period ending September 16.
![]() | OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK -- Saint Leo sophomore setter Michelle Nogueras (Cayey, P.R.) led the Lions to four three-game road victories, averaging 12.9 assists per game. Nogueras guided the Lions to a stellar .399 hitting percentage for the week. She also averaged 2.2 kills, 2.7 digs, and 0.6 blocks per frame, while hitting at a .475 clip. In SLU’s opening match of the week, she tallied a triple-double with 10 kills, 10 digs, and 45 assists. |
