FSC's Jenkins Grabs Men's Basketball Accolades

Florida Southern senior guard Terry Jenkins has been named Sunshine State Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the period ending January 30.

Jenkins (Muncie, Ind.) had the sizzling hand in a pair of Moccasins wins last week.  Jenkins averaged 23.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game while connecting on 77 percent (13-for-17) of his field goal attempts, 67 percent (6-for-9) of his three-point attempts, and 94 percent (15-for-16) of his free throws.  Coming off the bench in an 85-81 SSC win over Nova Southeastern, Jenkins tallied 18 points, four rebounds, three steals, and an assist.  He then recorded 29 points, six rebounds, and two assists in a 105-91 win over Palm Beach Atlantic.
