Sunshine State Conference Trademarks & Licensing
Any mark, logo, symbol, nickname, letter(s), word(s) or combination of these that can be associated with the Conference qualifies as a trademark and every use of the Sunshine State Conference’s trademarks requires permission from the Conference office.
The mission of the Sunshine State Conference’s Trademark Licensing Program is to protect and promote the Conference’s reputation by ensuring proper usage of its name and symbols. The Sunshine State Conference Trademark Licensing Program gives the Conference control over its logos and marks, thus, ensuring the quality and consistency of all of the Conference’s merchandise.
Strategic Marketing Affiliates
The Sunshine State Conference has partnered with Strategic Marketing Affiliates, Inc. (“SMA”) to assist in the management of its Trademark Licensing Program. SMA is responsible for the daily administrative activities generated by the program, including processing license applications, coordinating artwork approvals, collecting royalty payments, enforcement of trademark infractions, and pursuing new market opportunities for the Conference.
In order to produce products bearing the marks, logos and symbols of the Sunshine State Conference, manufacturers and vendors must be a licensee of the Conference. Conference Champions Merchandise
All Champion merchandise bearing the marks, logos, symbols and verbiage of the Sunshine State Conference must be manufactured by a licensee of the Conference and all designs must be approved by the Conference office prior to production.
